New kid in town: Frau Lochristi
Last weekend a new gem opened its doors in Lochristi. Eight years after its opening, high-end concept store Frau received a total make-over. In addition to fashion, the store now offers a great selection of design furniture, interior objects and even luxury skincare. Well-filled wishlist guaranteed!
Eight years ago Frau first opened its doors in Lochristi. A stone's throw away from Ghent, the store quickly became an established value among fashion fans. But the artistic skills of owner Sarah Gosse weren’t limited to fashion. Throughout the years she followed courses in ceramics, glass art, goldsmiths' art, interior design and photography. Up until today - in addition to her passion for Frau - she continues to improve her skills as a ceramist and glass artist. In order to encompass her love of aesthetics in all its facets, the renewed Frau now also offers a carefully curated selection of designer furniture, interior objects and even luxury skincare.
Frau’s Sarah loves characterful objects, colors and designs ‘with a twist’. They contrast playfully with the minimalist atmosphere of the store. The updated Frau is still your place to be for famous names such as Samsoe & Samsoe and O My Bag, but Sarah supplemented the range with some up-and-coming fashion and interior designers from all over the world. For example, Frau sells the Guatemalan carpets from Antwerp-based brand Que Onda Vos and colored glassware from Japanese brand Studio Fresco. Frau thus becomes an inspiring place where you can discover new names and styles in addition to well-known designers and brands.
No time to come to the store? As from Spring 2020 Frau will also have a webshop. Online Sarah once again chooses quality over quantity. The webshop will offer a carefully curated selection of fashion, designer furniture, interior objects and accessories, presented in the form of a capsule collection. Nice to know: Sarah also created a collection of exclusive Frau tableware in collaboration with Ginger Ceramics. A true must for all ceramic lovers out there!
