YUST what you need

YUST is located in Berchem, in the southeast of Antwerp. City brewery De Koninck is next-door and the Antwerp-Berchem train station is within walking distance. The innovative living concept opened its doors in March 2019 and was an immediate hit inside and outside Antwerp. The rooms are a mix of hotel- and hostel-like spaces and there are some stylish loft apartments for longer stays. In addition to this, YUST also serves as an event location and pop-up space and you’ll find shared bikes, meeting rooms and even a laundry service inside the building. YUST what you need!

Future-proof

The mission of the young and dynamic team behind YUST? Giving people the flexibility to live where they want, for as long as they want, without all those time-consuming household chores. Plans for locations in Brussels and Liège are in the pipeline and the goal is to transform YUST into a real European co-housing network. YUST stands for freedom by flexibility so that’s right up the alley of the emerging generation of digital nomads.

Young urban style

YUST is also the place to be for design enthusiasts. The interior is designed by female deco duo Stephanie Parein and Caroline De Cuyper, who’ve already designed lots of hospitality projects in Belgium and abroad. Amongst their creations is Felix Pakhuis on het Eilandje, definitely worth a visit when you’re in Antwerp. For the design of YUST, the ladies matched new trends with timeless classics. Lots of elements were even custom designed for the concept. With terrazzo floors and marble dining tables, YUST fully lives up to its name - Young Urban Style.

Yust food

At YUST FOOD chef Laurens Jasperse serves bistronomy with a healthy touch. It’s a food sharing concept and the menu evolves with the seasons. Every plate is colorful and covered in high-quality ingredients. We loved the homemade bread with nori butter and secreto, the cured salmon with chickpea salad and the pearl barley risotto. Also, don’t forget to head up to the rooftop terrace for after-work drinks or cuddle up by the cozy fireplace just outside the restaurant. Breakfast at YUST is also a winner and they occasionally serve an amazing brunch too. The last one for 2019 is on December 22 so you better hurry if you still want to join!
